How to level up your social impact.

Play with purpose, compete with kindness, support your community, and make an impact in a game where everyone wins.

We are proud to announce a new collaboration between The Hamilton 2030 Commonwealth Games Bid Initiative (which was conceived and advanced by community leaders and entrepreneurs) and Xocial, called The Social Impact Games.

The Social Impact Games is an online competition that provides an innovative, yet simple way to inspire good, do good, and make a real, measurable impact.

Through the use of patented technology and gamification, hundreds of pre-designed social impact challenges give audiences of all ages an opportunity to make a difference in their community and beyond.

How it started

As an organizing committee, Hamilton2030 was particularly inspired by the Commonwealth Games Federation’s unique and compelling mission to “build peaceful, healthy and sustainable communities” and their invitation to “attract and build on public, private and social partnerships that widely benefit Commonwealth athletes, sports and communities in innovative ways.”

The synergies between Hamilton2030’s goals and the capabilities of the Xocial’s gamified social impact platform were evident. From there, great minds got together and The Social Impact Games were born.

Our why

The global pandemic has required all of us to learn how to adapt to new - and difficult - circumstances. It has also given us an opportunity to pause and reflect on what's really important.

The question is no longer “should we take a stand?” but rather, “how can we maximize and measure our impact?”

Today, we all have the opportunity — and the responsibility — to make a difference and stand for something bigger than ourselves. And, The Social Impact Games is a great way to make that happen.

Our vision and mission

“Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.” - Helen Keller

Changing the world seems pretty overwhelming and complex to take on as a single individual or business but if we start with one small act of kindness or dedicate 1% of profits towards a greater cause, change can happen one act, one family, one community at a time.

We want to give our families, our communities and our planet a better future and know that the only way to do that is to provide opportunities for change.

Our mission is to truly empower individuals, communities, brands and corporations, by providing a simple way to inspire good, do good, and make a real, measurable impact.

We envision a world where "Social Innovation" can propel disruptive change. Technology, the use of social media platforms, the ability to connect to all humans across the globe gives us the unique opportunity to inspire and facilitate small acts of kindness and advocacy in a way that can actually change the world.

Who can participate?

The Social Impact Games is not a one-time event. We want to build a movement where anyone can join in on the fun and level up their social impact.

And, by anyone we mean: municipalities; charities, not-for-profits and causes; indigenous nations; educational institutions; athletic teams and organizations; groups, organizations and corporations; employees, customers and brands.

You can get in the game as a player, a team, a sponsor or a champion for a specific cause.

This multi-year initiative not only accelerates positive impact within our community, but provides better resources for corporate partners who want to advance and measure their own CSR initiatives.

We work with powerful community and corporate partners who want the social impact challenges that best amplify their existing CSR program. Whether that’s promoting community engagement, improving corporate culture, increase audience loyalty, or supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Ready to get in the game?

As part of our call to action we are working to use The Social Impact Games to address social priorities, reach environmental goals and improve the wellbeing of communities, both locally and globally. Learn more about how you can level up your social impact by getting in the game.
